Excellent little meshtastic device. Sadly my version still has the bad joystick- hope it will be fixed soon. Otherwise 5 star

I have been testing this unit for a few weeks. The assembly was simple with few technical skills required. I am very happy with the performance. It is very thrifty with battery. I have another unit based on the ESP32 board and it has to be charged every day (both units have 3000maH batteries). The N37 doesn't seem to drop the Bluetooth connection as some units do. I would buy a couple more if it didn't take so long to get them.

impressive device however the case construction is horrible.The joystick is not very well printed and makes navigation and operation frustrating. The case itself is thoughtful but ether poorly printed or deformed.

This is currently my favorite Meshtastic radio. Battery life is fantastic! I am getting no hop connections where before it had to connect to a line of sight solar node. The signal is either bouncing off the canyon walls (at Red Cliffs Lodge near Moab, UT) or hugging a hill and hitting my radio target. Simply amazing. I love the design of the case too. Much better than other versions. I have two friends who bought the L1 on my recommendation. Moab will have a first-rate Meshtastic emergency comm system, and I will be telling everyone about the Meshnology L1.

I think the N37 device is very good. The only minor flaw is that the buttons rattle when you shake the device.

Case is iffy - nothing securing the upper left corner of the main body pieces. Probably should be lips or notches on the GPS cover and the main case so that the screw/nut on the GPS portion also secures the upper left corner of the main case.

I need another one

They were fine, problem was the website lead me to believe I was buying entire units not just cases. Not clear purchase options.

I wasn't expecting so much assembly but it was a fun project to figure out. Directions would have been much appreciated, but with a handful of youTube videos and help from AI, I was able to get my first mesh device up and running! It's too early to give review past that, but I have high hopes so far!

This was my first Meshtastic device, and it was really fun to assemble! I must warn though: the joystick needs to be sanded down a little in order to properly function. Use 120 grain sandpaper on the bottom and the "skirt" of the stick for a few minutes and it should work fine.

The antenna could be better. Also the battery life is inconsistent. Could last 5 days or just 2. Why does it drain so fast when my phone isnt around?

Great little device, but the joystick didn't on click in after building. I was able to get it was some modding. I reached out to Meshnology, but never heard back... I still recommend this company.

I bought 3 Heltec v3 units and spent weeks trying to get GPS working. Took a chance on the N37s. They took about 10 -15 minutes to assemble and worked right out of the box. Left one running 24 hrs with the GPS on a 30 second polling frequency and it still had 65% on the battery, picking up 5-9 satellites indoors within a couple minutes from boot. Firmware update was simple. Print quality of the case is excellent and it's a solid little unit. Highly recommended them for anyone who wants a mobile node.
You might want to shorten the reset button so you don't hit it by accident. A channel to add 2mm waterproofing gasket would be a nice to have.

Fun device to play around with, fairly easy to assemble.

It seems to be very sensitive and the battery life is amazing compared to other nodes I have.

Instructions would be nice. I followed Not a Rubicon you tube video. It went together pretty well. Still learning abuot Mesh. Yiu will need to update the firm ware. Seems to be working.
