OUR STORY

It started with a bare board.

Great LoRa and Mesh boards were already out there. The problem was that many were still sold as bare hardware. To turn one into something you could actually carry and use, you still had to find the right enclosure, battery, antenna and accessories — and make sure everything worked together. For experienced makers, that can be part of the fun. For everyone else, it was an unnecessary barrier. So we started putting the pieces together.

THE PROBLEM

A great board wasn't always a complete device. You still had to source the enclosure, battery, antenna and accessories yourself — then figure out how to put everything together.

OUR ANSWER

Make good hardware easier to actually use. Meshnology started building complete kits around proven boards, bringing the enclosure, battery, antenna and hardware together into one practical setup. Less time sourcing parts. More time using the network.

We're building the next part ourselves.

Building complete devices taught us what people actually cared about once the hardware left the workbench — easier setup, practical power, better antennas and hardware designed for real-world use. So we took the next step. Meshnology has now started developing and releasing hardware of our own. We're still building complete kits around great platforms, but that's no longer where the story ends. Our goal is to keep developing Meshnology hardware that makes Mesh and off-grid communication easier for more people to experience.

WHERE WE'RE GOING

For makers — and people who just want it to work.

We started by making great boards easier to use. Now we're taking what we've learned and building more of the hardware ourselves. Meshnology will continue supporting makers who love to build, modify and experiment — while creating more complete products for people who simply want to get outside, build a network and start communicating. We don't want Mesh technology to feel like something only engineers can enjoy. We want more people to experience what it can do.
Built for the field. Made to connect. And we're just getting started.
